who cares about plot ?

I remember renting this with the allure of seeing the nude girl from WHO''S THE BOSS... And I had no idea it would turn into a truly soft core porno with a modicrum of story.
Gary Kemp as a vampire is peppered in every now & then, but no one notices or cares until he starts sucking on Allyssa Milano''s neck, but of course she''s naked.
A terrible movie, but a moment of pop culture history. |

I enjoyed the movie thoroughly. I don’t think anyone should be that harsh on this movie because it everyone stuck to character. The plot wasn’t extravagant or confusing or try to be something it’s not. I enjoyed the change in Alyssa’s character, from good girl to very bad girl. I didn’t expect it to be an academy award winning movie and I didn’t think the movie dragged. I think people miss the point of the movie. |

It is what it is. T''n''A. But one scene in particular stands out. It’s where the lady photographer is trying to seduce Alyssa. I like to imagine myself directing the scene and how I would have done it differently. I would have had the photographer stand next to Alyssa in front of a full length mirror and give her a modeling lesson. The photographer unbuttons her blouse to make Alyssa more comfortable, and Alyssa imitates as the photographer shoots off a roll. I think most directors should check it out to see mistakes and try to improve on it.
