Gina Aponté has been custom-designing and
creating the company’s one-of-a-kind fantastical “Palace Forts” for the past
10 years. From floor-to-ceiling-wall-to-wall-soup-to-nuts, Gina has produced
her Palace Art inside bedrooms, dining rooms, living rooms, backstage
celebrity lounges, dressing rooms, television studios, ballrooms, bathrooms,
hotel rooms, and pretty much anywhere under the stars! |
|
Within the first 6 months of
business, her Royal Palaces were featured on 2 morning news shows: KTLA
Morning News and the FOX-nationally-aired, “Good Day Live,” highlighted on
Jillian Barberie’s ‘Style File.’ Gina quickly became known for her stunning
“before & after” room make-overs—combined with her extravagant romantic
techniques, and she was soon regarded as a “romance expert” on Bravo’s
reality television show, “His & Hers.” |
|
In 2005, her “Royal Palaces” gained
respect and popularity among the A-list crowd, when she was invited to build
her specialty forts backstage, inside the celebrity V.I.P. lounges for the
People’s Choice Awards, NAACP Image Awards, and the Academy of Country Music
Awards in Las Vegas. |
|
In 2006, the GRAMMYs invited
her to build 2 completely different Royal Palaces for 2 completely different
Divas’ backstage suites… Madonna & Mariah Carey! She handles these
“pressure-cookers” with ease. Prior to launching the business, Gina produced
several projects in the entertainment industry, including a high comedy
film, music video, documentary, and stage production. She also worked as a
film actress opposite stars like Kiefer Sutherland, Steven Weber, Bridget
Fonda, and William Hurt, as well as Heather Locklear on Melrose Place. With
this strong producing and acting background, this Virginia-born dynamo
finally discovered her true love—creating dramatic and sumptuous art in the
form of indulgent forts, which requires an enormous production to complete.
And once complete, her work finds a way of impressing the seemingly
unimpressionable. The atmospheres she creates are so blissfully removed from
the world, clients have admitted to never wanting to leave. She has invented
a form of art that instantly imposes tranquility into someone’s life. |
|
Gina exudes an undying passion for what she
calls her “Palace Art”—and conducts her business with etiquette and moral
principles that people truly admire. Most importantly, she is loyal and
adamantly respectful of her clients’ privacy. A self-professed hopeless
romantic and “fort builder” since a very young age, Gina Aponté has invented
a brand new form of art that she hopes will bring soul revitalization to
people of all different cultures across the globe. With her sensory
life-size art, she invents a tranquil fort where one can disappear—be
spoiled—and escape from the rest of the world. |
