Quick Guy won the Gold Special Jury Award at this years Worldfest Houston Film Festival (and The Man who bought Mustique was nominated for a British Academy - BAFTA- award, and won a British Indy).

"Quick Guy" was shot on 35mm and Digital 8 (Sony 510) by commercials DP Larry Fong. The co-directors were Joseph Bullman and Eugene  Davis. It was performed by Mike Bunin and Meredith Louise Thomas. It was  edited on Final Cut Pro and Avid by Steve Winters and on-lined by Jason Weichelt at Teds. Eugene is a AD who works with top commercials directors  like Tarsem, and Joe is a director of documentary films (his latest, The  Man Who Bought Mustique, about a mad English Lord who runs amok in the  Caribbean, got its North American premiere at this years Toronto Film  Festival). "Quick Guy", a spec spot, was completed just a few weeks ago,  for less than $4,000. Joe: "We're entering it into competitions -- but  it's unlikely to get bought by Sony -- one because it contains sex, and  two, because we went out of our way to make the video footage look  shitty."
