Directors Notes
Working with your friends makes it all worth it. Thank you
everybody for your hard work.
I wanted to try drama and push myself cinematically. I was
very fortunate to work with Ching Wang, a skilled cinematographer
from Brazil not only had a visual eye, but who also understood
story.
After I wrote it, I realized that in a strange way I had written
myself into the story as a struggling artist trying to find his
voice, and the logical side of me, Nancy.
John Riggs selflessly helped out in post and let me learn by looking
over his shoulders. His extensive background in writing,
directing, editing was very helpful in making better dramatic
choices in editing. His natural instincts blended in nicely
with his technical abilities.
Charity's unbelievable commitment made the filmmaking experience
incredible and thanks to her she brought her wonderful sister,
Shyanne and her friends Rochelle and Caleb.
Shyanne's personal experiences as a
young artist was a huge inspiration to find the small details to
make the story and characters real.
Agnes and Francis at the Premiere

The musical score by Greg Kellogg.
The songs by Adrina Thorpe really
lifted my film to a new level.
Ang Lee, one of my favorite directors, is my big inspiration. In
Sense and Sensibility, the background behind the sense woman, Kate
Winslett, had wild designs and color. The Sensible woman, Emma
Thompson, was always framed, and hard lines and surfaces were used
as background.
